WHAT WE DO

From a business need to an operational result.

We can enter before the project exists, take responsibility for delivery, add capacity to an existing organisation, or carry a defined workstream through to handover.

Give us a vision, requirement or problem and we can turn it into a pre-study, roadmap and executable project plan. The roadmap must support the business case; the project plan then defines scope, responsibilities, architecture and technology dependencies, security and compliance requirements, delivery approach, governance, milestones, acceptance and handover.

From there, CSE Business can provide the management layer, the technical delivery capability, or both. A client may need one Project Manager tomorrow, a PMO function as a service, a CISO-level security role, an architecture or infrastructure workstream, or an end-to-end transformation. The engagement is shaped around the actual delivery need rather than around a fixed service package.

WHERE WE START

Vision · Pre-study · Assessment · Business requirements · Roadmap · Business-case alignment

WHAT WE DO

HOW WE CLOSE

Acceptance · Service readiness · Documentation · Transition · Handover to RUN

Commercial model and delivery method are separate decisions. Work may be supplied including Time & Material, Managed Delivery or Advisory, while the project itself may run Waterfall, Agile or Hybrid.

APPLICATION & ENTERPRISE PLATFORM DELIVERY

Application delivery leadership without pretending to be the product engineer.

CSE Business leads application and enterprise-platform delivery where the project requires management, architecture coordination, integration, migration, testing, cutover and business-to-technology alignment.

APPLICATION DELIVERY

Requirements · Software architecture · Integration dependencies · Environment planning · Testing · Cutover · Acceptance

SAP / ERP LEADERSHIP

SAP engineering and SAP solution architecture are not presented as CSE Business delivery capabilities. Where SAP is in scope, CSE Business provides the leadership and cross-system delivery governance required to make the overall solution work, coordinating the relevant SAP implementation or engineering partner.

PROCEED ↓07

DELIVERY APPROACH

Plan the work first. Choose the method that fits it.

The project plan is the reference point. It turns the roadmap into executable scope and makes the delivery model visible: workstreams, ownership, dependencies, milestones, governance, acceptance and transition.

WATERFALL

Defined scope · Integrated plan · Milestones · Dependencies · Stage gates · Change control · Cutover

AGILE

Backlog · Iterative delivery · Sprint planning · Reviews · Incremental acceptance · Adaptation

HYBRID

Program-level planning and governance combined with iterative execution where the technical workstream benefits from it.

CSE Business works within the client's governance where it exists. Where governance is missing or insufficient for the engagement, we propose the required structure in the project plan and agree it before delivery.

RAID · KPI · SteerCo · CAB · Change · Financial Control · Resource Control · Delivery Dependencies

PROCEED ↓10

SERVICE, CHANGE & OPERATIONAL READINESS

Delivery is complete when the result can be operated.

Technology delivery does not stop at implementation. Service readiness, change, acceptance and operational ownership are planned with the technical work so the delivered solution can move into RUN with the required documentation, controls and support model.

IT SERVICE MANAGEMENT

ITIL · ServiceNow · Incident · Problem · Change · Request · Knowledge · CMDB · Service catalogue

CHANGE & ACCEPTANCE

CAB · Change planning · Go / No-Go · Rollback criteria · Acceptance criteria · Service readiness

TRANSITION TO RUN

Knowledge transfer · Documentation · Ownership · Operational handover · Closure

PROCEED ↓11

RESOURCE AS A SERVICE

The right capability, integrated into the client delivery organisation.

CSE Business provides defined professional capacity when a client needs additional delivery capability without transferring responsibility for the overall delivery scope.

WHEN

Missing capability · Temporary capacity gap · Peak delivery period · Transformation / migration · Recovery / critical phase

WHY

Immediate capacity · Specialist expertise · Delivery acceleration · Temporary leadership · Capability unavailable internally

HOW

Defined role and responsibility · Integrated into client governance · Client-directed day-to-day work · Agreed duration and capacity · CSE-backed professional resource

Typical capabilities: Project Manager · Program Manager · PMO · CISO / Security Lead · Architect · Infrastructure Lead · Application Delivery Lead · Transformation Lead

Resource as a Service provides capability and capacity. The client retains delivery authority and directs the resource within its organisation.

PROCEED ↓08

ENGAGEMENT MODELS

The engagement follows the delivery need.

TIME & MATERIAL

Capacity added to an existing client organisation. The client directs day-to-day work; CSE Business provides the agreed role and capability.

MANAGED DELIVERY

CSE Business takes responsibility for an agreed project, program, portfolio, PMO or workstream scope with defined governance and reporting.

ADVISORY

Defined assessment, pre-study, roadmap, planning, architecture review, security governance or decision-support scope.

Examples include a single Project Manager, a PMO function as a service, CISO-level security support, an architecture or infrastructure workstream, or combined management and technical delivery.

The commercial model does not prescribe the methodology. T&M work can operate inside Waterfall, Agile or Hybrid delivery, and Managed Delivery can use the client's governance model or an agreed CSE Business framework.

PROCEED ↓14

GOVERNANCE & CLIENT INTEGRATION

Governance follows accountability.

CSE Business integrates into the client governance model where it is sufficient for the agreed scope. Where required controls are missing, we define and agree the governance structure, decision rights, escalation paths and acceptance model needed to execute the work safely and predictably.

CLIENT GOVERNANCE

Existing policies · Portfolio controls · Architecture boards · Security requirements · Procurement · Operational standards

CSE DELIVERY GOVERNANCE

Integrated plan · RAID · Dependencies · Financial and resource control · Reporting · Delivery cadence

For Managed Delivery, the required governance and CSE delivery authority are established before execution begins.

PROCEED ↓15

DISCOVERY & PARTNER NETWORK
